Regarding proximity to the last survivor of Utah's Interurban "big four," we see in the distance the Salt Lake Garfield & Western yard. The TRAX airport branch will operate along North Temple Street in the foreground. This is as close as the airport line gets to the SLG&W. You might also note two passenger cars in the yard. They belong to the local NRHS chapter. The "baby poo" yellow car is essentially stationary, but the other car, the dome, is a replacement for a car which was used by the chapter to accompany solid booster rocket motor shipments from Brigham City to the Cape. The previous car was wrecked in a freak trestle collapse on the Meridian & Bigbee. The NRHS chapter no longer participates in these movements. Next
